Dziś w nocy odbyła się uroczysta gala Global Poker Awards. Nagrody przyznano w 25 kategoriach. Graczem Roku został Almedin „Ali” Imsirovic.
To była trzecia edycja plebiscytu. Gala odbyła się w studiu PokerGO, które mieści się w kasynie ARIA w Las Vegas. Gospodarzami wieczoru byli Jeff Platt oraz Drea Renee.
Imsirovic zgarnia trzy tytuły
Jak już wiecie, Ali Imsirovic został wybrany Graczem Roku, ale to nie jedyne wyróżnienie, które tego dnia otrzymał młody Bośniak. „Ali” został jeszcze uhonorowany tytułem Gracza Roku PokerGO Tour, a także – co może mieć dla niego największą wartość – tytułem Najtrudniejszego rywala. Jest to o tyle istotna nagroda, że głosy w tej kategorii pochodzą od samych graczy. 27-letni pokerzysta pozostawił w pokonanym polu takich wirtuozów gry jak: Michael Addamo, Stephen Chidwick czy David Peters.
