Year of the Snake: GGPoker’s huge promotion!
Promotions GGPoker promotions have become standard. Now, in addition to its races, the poker room is offering another one, Year of Snake Hongabao. Here's what it's all about.
Every month on GGPoker, players can take part in a huge number of promotions. There are Spin & Gold races, cash races (PLO and NL Hold'em), Short Deck races, and leaderboards for Rush & Cash. Recently, however, the poker room has also been adding some very large promotions. One such promotion was Year of the Dragon, with a daily prize pool of $320,000.
Catch an envelope with Cash Dollars
The promotion runs from January 16 to 31. Money will be given away every day in the form of Cash Dollars, meaning dollars for cash games. You can see an envelope in the upper-left corner of the table. If it drops onto the table, the players share the prize. In which games can the envelope appear? It can appear in cash games at standard tables, as well as in tournaments with buy-ins in yen, which you can find in the APL tab. However, freerolls and satellites do not count toward the promotion, so only Main Events are eligible.
The APL Championship festival is currently underway on GGPoker. Buy-ins in yen mean that some of the tournaments are suitable for low-stakes players. These tournaments are played mainly in the NL Hold'em format.
