The Quattro: new Americas Cardroom tournament for low-stakes players

Mystery PKO tournaments, but for lower-stakes players. Starting in November, Americas Cardroom is adding Quattro to the schedule, with multiple starting sessions.

The Quattro are three new tournaments on Americas Cardroom. All of them work in a similar way – players first grind the Day 1 sessions, then advance to Day 2, which will take place on Sunday. This format guarantees high guaranteed prize pools, but also opportunities for big bounties.

The schedule includes these Quattro tournaments:

  • Buy-in $33 – prize pool $50,000 and largest bounty $5,000
  • Buy-in $5.50 – prize pool $20,000 and largest bounty $1,500
  • Buy-in $1.10 – prize pool $5,000 and largest bounty $250

Short sessions, more chances to build a stack

The tournament guaranteed prize pools should be exceeded, because the software has many starting sessions, with even more before Sunday. In each Day 1 session, levels are 8 minutes long, and the whole thing lasts about 100 minutes. Around 25% of the field advances to the final day on Sunday. You can play multiple times, and all carried stacks combine into a bigger one on the final day. In each Day 1, you start with a 5,000 stack. The tournaments also have a regular prize pool portion – 12% of players will be in the money.

The tournaments have a Mystery Bounty format. That means the prizes for eliminating players are from the final day. If someone eliminates a player who has a $100 bounty on them, they get $50 immediately, and 50% goes to their mystery bounty. Day 1 Quattro sessions run every 2 hours from Sunday through Friday, 5 minutes past the hour. From Friday to Sunday, Day 1 sessions run hourly. Additional sessions are still available on Sunday before Day 2.

100% welcome bonus up to $2,000

To start, you can take advantage of a very solid welcome bonus at Americas Cardroom, which is 100% up to $2,000. The minimum deposit is $25, and the maximum is of course $2,000. No code is needed when making the deposit. The bonus is released at a rate of $1 for every 27.5 Award Points. At the start, this is rakeback of more than 20%.

Note: registering for the welcome bonus means the player does not receive the fixed 27% rakeback.

Most important deposit bonus rules:

  • The minimum deposit is $25
  • Release of $1 for every 27.5 Award Points
  • Points or rake paid toward The Best and Sit & Crush promotions (races) do not count as Award Points toward the bonus
  • You have 60 days to release the full bonus
  • Rake paid in tournaments will be credited toward the bonus every 24 hours
