WSOP Paradise schedule announced: Super Main Event with a massive prize pool
The World Series of Poker has announced the schedule for the fall WSOP Paradise festival. As many as 20 bracelets will be awarded, with a total prize pool of $120,000,000. Satellites for the festival are running on GGPoker.
Massive prize pools, but also fairly high buy-ins. The WSOP Paradise festival is returning. In a few months, players from around the world will head to the Bahamas to compete for bracelets. There will be as many as 20 of them.
The festival will begin on December 2 with the $25,000 Circuit Championship Mystery Bounty tournament. The prize pool will be $5,000,000. Large prize pools are the common denominator of the tournaments in the Bahamas. The organizers have decided to guarantee substantial amounts in each of them.
WSOP Paradise: greater variety and a massive Main Event
The festival, which will take place from December 2 to 17, is more diverse this year. No-Limit Hold'em no longer dominates the schedule to the same extent. It is quite interesting that the overall prize pools have increased from $50,000,000 to as much as $120,000,000. That said, the festival is clearly aimed at players who play medium or high stakes, as the buy-ins are also higher.
The more interesting events certainly include the $10,000-entry GGMillion$, which, as in its online version, has a $10,000,000 prize pool, as well as the Super Main Event, where a $25,000 buy-in could be turned into millions. The prize pool is a massive $50,000,000. Last year, 2,891 players took part, the prize pool reached $72,000,000, and heads-up Bernhard Binder defeated Jean-Noel Thorel to take exactly $10,000,000.
