Americas Cardroom – big traffic, tons of tournaments and a 100% bonus up to $2,000!

This poker room has been on the market for many years. Americas Cardroom is today one of the more interesting places to grind cash games and tournaments, as it guarantees plenty of action, a good offering, and a great deposit bonus.

The history of Americas Cardroom goes back to 2001. At one point it started to gain significant popularity. It was one of those places where, for example, Americans were constantly playing. As part of and the flagship room of the Winning Poker Network, it gained popularity. Over time, ACR Poker started hosting some of the biggest tournaments, comparable even to Stars.

Americas Cardroom is a poker room that currently works with, among others, Chris Moneymaker and Tom Dwan. It is also closely tied to the Triton Poker Series tournaments, which it sponsors. The software has undergone major changes over the years, and it is fair to say that today it is one of the best on the market. The poker room is a great place to grind for tournament players and cash game players, because the prize pools are large and the traffic is really solid.

Americas Cardroom software

Americas Cardroom software is really very solid. The tabs in the top section make it easy to move between tournaments, cash, staking, Blitz, and the rest. All information about bonuses and other things can be found in “My Account” – promotions and races – in the top section.

There is also a mobile version, and both work great compared to what they were just a few years ago. While grinding on this room, you can use PokerTracker, for example.

100% welcome bonus up to $2,000

To start, you can take advantage of a very solid welcome bonus here, which is $100 up to $2,000. The minimum deposit is $25, and the maximum is of course $2,000. No code needs to be entered when making the deposit. The bonus itself is released at $1 for every 27.5 Award Points. At the start, this is rakeback of more than 20%.

Note: registering for the welcome bonus means that the player will not receive the fixed 27% rakeback.

The most important rules of the deposit bonus:

  • The minimum deposit is $25
  • Payout of $1 for every 27.5 Award Points
  • Points or rake paid into The Best and Sit & Crush promotions (races) do not accumulate Award Points toward the bonus
  • You have 60 days to unlock the full bonus
  • Tournament fees paid will be credited toward the bonus every 24 hours

Rakeback in Americas Cardroom – two options (27% or up to 65% through Elite Benefits)

Americas Cardroom has two types of rakeback. The first is a flat rakeback amounting to 27% at all times. It is just one fixed level that does not change. It is intended for players who do not play as regularly but want to get a return on their money.

Note: if you choose the fixed rakeback, the player will not receive the bonus!

The second program is Elite Benefits, which is definitely more complex, but also better for people who plan a substantial monthly or yearly grind. Here, rakeback starts at around 10%, and can even total 65%.

The basic rule is that a player's level depends on the number of Rank Points earned, which are then multiplied and counted as Combat Points. The first four levels are based on points collected during the month. The top two have an annual cap that must be reached.

At all levels, players take part in freerolls. From the second level, cash is also available in the store, for example, with the two highest levels offering $1,500 and $4,000. A separate thing is the so-called medals, which can be exchanged for earned Rank Points. For example, 750, 1,500, 2,250, and 3,000 are $50 each, and later a larger number of points means more cash.

The Beast and Sit and Crush – two races for grinders

It should be emphasized that ACR Poker tries quite well to make good use of players' time, offering them plenty of additional promotions. Examples are two races – The Beast and Sit and Crush.

The Beast is a simple race where paid rake counts – 1 point for every 2 cents. The prize pool is fluid, but it is usually a fight for decent cash for cash game players. Here is an important note – MTT players have their own version, where points earn them tickets to a satellite for one of ACR's bigger tournaments.

Sit and Crush is probably one of the few races in the world for players of Sit and Go, JackpotPoker and On Demand tournaments. Here, the number of tournaments played counts, and part of the rake goes into the overall race pool. This promotion also has a large prize pool, and it is best to check the standings in the software.

Deposit at Americas Cardroom

ACR Poker is definitely a place to play for people who do not see a problem with cryptocurrency deposits. Available options include Bitcoin, Litecoin, Ethereum and Tether. Among wallets there is Luxon Pay, and there is also the option to deposit by card.

Just keep in mind that although $10 is the minimum deposit, $25 activates the bonus. A withdrawal, on the other hand, is $50. The poker room processes withdrawals quite efficiently.

Cash games – several poker variants

Usually there is quite good action at the tables, although you should remember that it will likely be bigger in the evening or even at night – a lot of Americans play.

Naturally, NL Hold'em tables dominate, with hundreds from 1/2 cents stakes. ACR also has plenty of Pot Limit Omaha, PL Omaha Hi/Low and even 5 Card Omaha tables. In addition, there are Blitz games, which are the Fast Fold Poker version, from 5/10 cents up to $5/10. There are several Pot Limit Omaha tables from 5/10 cents up to $5/10.

Americas Cardroom also has special tables for players looking for action:

  • 7 Day No Rathole: special tables where a player returns with the stack they left with within the last 7 days
  • Bomb Pots: at these tables, on special hands up to 4 times per hour, each player must put 4 blinds in the middle (6-max) or 2 blinds (9-max).
  • Other tables: standard, Short, All-in or Fold, Cap.

Great place for tournament players

The tournament schedule at Americas Cardroom is really great. There are a ton of them available, they start practically every few minutes, and the poker room now also has somewhat shorter late reg periods – in the past they even lasted several hours.

Americas Cardroom has a lot of NL Hold'em tournaments in different variants – progressive knockout, freezeout, paid FT, bounty and others. For players of other variants, great news – there is Stud, Pot Limit Omaha, and also Omaha Hi/Low. Of course, like the competition, ACR organizes massive festivals where the prize pools are really huge.

What we personally like is also the Steps satellite system and, in general, the huge number of satellites. For example, for the most expensive Venom tournament, which has a $2,650 buy-in, you can qualify starting from free satellites or for cents!
